А что, в древности часто ли цари ездили друг к другу в гости? Дворец, допустим, новый обмыть, или дочу замуж выдать...

Иль стрёмно было тогда царям по гостям шастать: а ну как в плен возьмут, али вообще земной жизни лишат?
